History and Background

The LASU International Journal of Arts and Social Science Education (LUASSED) was established in January 2021 by the Department of Language, Arts and Social Science Education, Lagos State University, Ojo, Nigeria. The journal was founded in response to the growing need for a reputable, multidisciplinary platform that bridges scholarship in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and education.

Since its inception, LUASSED has been committed to promoting high-quality research, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, and supporting innovative academic contributions that reflect both global perspectives and African intellectual traditions. The journal has steadily expanded its reach, publishing peer-reviewed articles that address contemporary issues, educational developments, and emerging trends across diverse fields of study.

With its biannual publication schedule and dedication to rigorous academic standards, LUASSED continues to serve as a vital outlet for scholars, educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to contribute to cutting-edge discourse within the arts and social science education community.
